I worked with the BIKE Magazine Editorial team, our Creative Director and our Engineering team to redesign BikeMag.com. Our goal was to improve our web and mobile experiences by making them cleaner, faster, and easier to navigate.
We introduced a new adaptive mobile experience that complimented the aesthetic of the print magazine, improved the reading experience of Article pages, and introduced new “Gear” and “Photo of the Day” sections. We also released a new Photo Gallery system, and publishing tools for the Editorial team.
3 months since this redesign, we’ve seen significant improvements in our engagement metrics including:
• 50% increase in Pages / Session
• 50% increase in Avg. Session Duration
• 20% decrease in Bounce Rate
